PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert an auditory localization effect even at a hearing position away from a front position of right and left stereo speakers.SOLUTION: An acoustic field adjustment filters 5L, 5R for generating from acoustic signals output from an audio source to a pair of right and left speakers 2L, 2R an acoustic field adjustment signal that adds specific sound field characteristics includes: a plurality of bandpass filters for splitting a desired frequency band of the acoustic signal into a plurality of frequency bands; time delay setting means for adding a predetermined time delay for each frequency band of the acoustic signal; and gain setting means for adding a predetermined additional gain. An acoustic signal is collected from a specific position with a microphone disposed between the pair of speakers 2L, 2R fixed at a predetermined position. On the basis of an arrival time difference to reach both speakers 2L, 2R and an attenuation level difference, delay time and attenuation level of the acoustic signal input to the speaker 2L, 2R are corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
