PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a relationship between partial areas of an acquisition image by using a database of relationships between images and determine an area of interest in the acquisition image on the basis of the relationship.SOLUTION: An image processor includes: an image acquisition part 101 for acquiring an image picked up by a camera or the like provided to the processor; an area division part 102 for dividing the acquired image into a plurality of partial areas; a similar area inquiry part 103 for inquiring of an image data storage part 104 an area similar to a partial area; the image data storage part 104 for storing a plurality of images and information of relationships between images; an area of interest determination part 105 for determining an area where a subject is present in the acquired image as an area of interest; a category discrimination part 106 for discriminating a category of the subject for each area of the acquired image; a result integration part 107 for integrating discrimination results of the area of interest and areas other than the area of interest; and a result output part 108 for outputting a final discrimination result of the area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
