PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and a control method for the same that can obtain images having excellent quality by both of a diverse lens and a normal lens while using a directional sensor.SOLUTION: A diverse lens having plural areas each of which has an independent characteristic, and a normal lens having one characteristic are selectively fitted to a lens fitting unit. The type of the lens fitted to the lens fitting unit is identified. When the diverse lens is fitted to the lens fitting unit, plural images corresponding to the plural areas are generated, when the normal lens is fitted, one image is generated from imaging signals of all pixels of a directional sensor. When the diverse lens is fitted to the lens fitting unit, a correction of removing an effect of light fluxes passing through areas other than one area from an image generated in connection with the one area out of the plural areas is performed, and when the normal lens is fitted, the pixel-based sensitivity difference of the pixels of the plural kinds of pixels is corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
