PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual line direction area setting device and a visual line direction area setting system capable of highly accurately setting a visual line direction area including a visual line direction when a driver actually views a mirror.SOLUTION: A visual line direction area setting device (5) includes: a driver visual line direction information input unit (27) for inputting driver visual line direction information indicating a visual line direction (45) of a driver; an aggregation part recognition unit (31) for recognizing aggregation parts (49, 51, 53, 55, 57, 59) in the distribution of visual line directions on the basis of the driver visual line direction information; an aggregation part determination unit (33) for determining the aggregation part corresponding to a mirror on the basis of an order among the aggregation parts concerning the number of the visual line directions included in the aggregation parts; and a visual line direction area setting unit (35) for setting a visual line direction area (61) including at least one aggregation part corresponding to the mirror.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
