PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for folding a diaper capable of folding a flap into a predetermined condition.SOLUTION: A method for folding a diaper comprises: a holding step of holding a first drum part 21 on a main pad 11 under a state where an end part E2 in a longitudinal direction Y of the first drum part 21 of a main body is shrunk in a girth direction X rather than a crotch part 22 due to tension provided by an elastic member F, and a state where an edge part E1 of the first drum part 21 is inclined to a virtual main body center line 2C of the main body extending in the longitudinal direction Y, and also holding a flap 3 on a side pad 12; and a folding step where the flap 3 is folded to overlap with the first drum part 21 on the virtual folding line inclining in a manner where the virtual folding line approaches the a center line 2C as it extends to the end part E2 of the first drum part 21, by rotating the side pad 12 so that the side pad 12 faces with the main pad 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
