PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail management device and mail management method capable of sorting new mails according to the situation of a user.SOLUTION: In a terminal device 10, an unread mail count acquisition unit 22 obtains an unread mail count from a mail client 11 and a mail regulation determination unit 23 determines whether or not to regulate mails by using the unread mail count. A new mail reception unit 24 receives a new mail. A new mail importance determination unit 25 determines the importance of the new mail by using information of the new mail received by the new mail reception unit 24. A new mail sorting unit 26 sorts the new mail so that when the importance of the new mail indicates that the new mail is important, the new mails is set as an output object and when the importance of the new mail indicates that the new mail is not important, the new mail is not output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
