PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cesium adsorbent which utilizes selective adsorption performance of cesium included in Prussian blue, which improves easiness of handling as an adsorbent, and furthermore which contributes to maintenance/improvement of adsorption performance of Prussian blue.SOLUTION: A method for producing a cesium adsorbent includes: a cleaning step in which, after dispersing Prussian blue in an aqueous dispersion state into water at normal temperature or hot water, removal of supernatant after sedimentation of Prussian blue is performed over a plurality of times, and the supernatant is cleaned to obtain the cleaned Prussian blue; and an adhesion step for adhering the cleaned Prussian blue to base material activated carbon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
