PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urea hydrolysis device which enables continuous operation by preventing the clogging of a urea nozzle and the clogging of pipes and efficiently decomposes urea by bringing urea water sprayed in a reactor into contact with the entire area of a hydrolysis catalyst layer.SOLUTION: A urea hydrolysis device, which generates ammonia A by hydrolyzing urea and blows the ammonia A into combusted exhaust gas in a furnace 10 or a flue to reduce NOx, comprises: a reactor 2 with a hydrolysis catalyst layer 1; a urea water supply line 3; a urea water spray nozzle 6 which sprays urea water U to the surface of the hydrolysis catalyst layer 1; a heated air supply line 7 which supplies heated air a'; an ammonia supply line 11 which leads ammonia A generated in the reactor 2 into the furnace 10 or the flue; and an ammonia spray nozzle 12. The urea hydrolysis device has a heated air supply part which supplies the heated air a' into the reactor 2, and heats the urea water spray nozzle 6 by blowing a part of the heated air a' to the urea water spray nozzle 6 so as to keep the surface of the hydrolysis catalyst layer 1 at 200-250°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
