PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide device for actualizing low noise and smooth operation.SOLUTION: The outward side inner face of a rolling passage side portion 15B of a direction change path 15 is a flat face 22 formed ranging from the base end of a tongue part 18 to the protruded front end thereof and inclined at an angle α to a rolling passage 13. The angle α is 20°-30°. A rolling element 3 passing through the end point of the rolling passage 13 contacts the inclined flat face 22 instead of the protruded front end of the tongue part 18 to start its scoop-up. At starting the scoop-up, an angle β formed by a straight line between the center of the rolling element 3 and a curvature center O of a curved face 21 of a return passage side portion 15A, and an end face 24 in the longitudinal direction of a slider body 2A is 8°-17.5°. At starting the scoop-up, an allowable movement quantity M of the rolling element 3 in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the rolling element 3 is 3%-8% of the diameter of the rolling element 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
