The invention relates to a capacitive cryogenic level transducer for liquid nitrogen, meant to measure/adjust the nitrogen level in coolers, condensers, cryogenic installations. According to the invention the transducer consists of two coplanar metal plates (1 and 2) with the role of fixed electrodes and a metal plate (4), insulated in relation to the other two plates (1 and 2), which may slide on some insulating pins (5) due to a float (6) adhered to the mobile plate (4), the transducer capacity thus constituted being modified simultaneously with the increase of the nitrogen level, both due to liquid nitrogen penetrating between the plates and to the mobile metal plate (4) approaching to the two fixed plates (1 and 2), some electric conductors (7) connected to the fixed plates (1 and 2) leading the signal to an electronic circuit (8) for processing the signal. |
