The invention relates to an electronic apparatus for detecting unconscious persons trapped under fallen buildings. According to the invention, the apparatus consists of a semi-rigid flexible tube (3) introduced into the searching area and connected to a vacuum pump (2), by means of which the air is sucked and introduced into a measuring enclosure (4) provided with sensors (6) sensitive to the gases generated by the human body in stress condition and to those normally eliminated by breathing, as well as with sensors (7, ..., 11) for detecting explosive or toxic gases, sensors which provide, depending on the gas concentrations, electric signals which are analyzed and assessed by a micro-computer (19) which decides the probability of unconscious persons' presence, as well as the hazard degree for the rescuers. |
