PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device that can optimize a configuration of wirings extending in a non-display area to suppress a reduction in display quality, and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: On a first substrate 10 (element substrate) of a liquid crystal device, a common potential line LVcom, out of wirings extending in a non-display area 10c held by a display area 10a and an outer edge 107e of a sealing material, is provided to interpose an inter-layer insulating film (first insulating film) with a pixel electrode 9a. Meanwhile, wirings LSPY, LVSSY, LVDDY, LCLY, and LCLYINV to supply a potential different from a common potential Vcom, and a wiring 106 are arranged to interpose the inter-layer insulating film (first insulating film) and inter-layer insulating film (second insulating film) with the pixel electrode 9a. A second wiring part LVcom2 of the common potential line LVcom extends to surround the entire periphery of the display area 10a in the non-display area 10c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
