PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone capable of improving sound isolation performance.SOLUTION: A cordless type headphone 1 includes: an electrostatic capacitance type proximity sensor 23 provided in a housing to secure adhesion of a cushion 21's contact surface to a temporal region of a wearer; and an ear cup 2A, 2B comprising a control section for making a speaker unit operate depending on detection of an object.
