PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in which a starting voltage of a lamp is sufficiently decreased to improve startability thereof and in addition, reducing the diameter of a sealed tube in a both-end sealed type short arc flash lamp which has a pair of main electrodes inside a light-emitting tube and a starting aid electrode and includes a first sealed tube and a second sealed tube at both ends of the light-emitting tube, and in which a core wire of the first main electrode is sealed in the first sealed tube and led out to the outside of the light-emitting tube, a glass tube for sealing inserted into the inside is welded on the second sealed tube, and the core wire of the second main electrode is sealed in the glass tube for sealing and led out to the outside of the light-emitting tube.SOLUTION: In a both-end sealed type short arc flash lamp, a conductor electrically connected to a core wire of the main electrode is arranged so that an external trigger is arranged in the outside of a first sealed tube and/or a second sealed tube and the external trigger approaches to the inner wall of the sealed tube corresponding to a position where the external trigger is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
