PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical deflector that can be easily manufactured and can maintain the accuracy in deflection scanning independent of a use environment.SOLUTION: An optical deflector 12 includes a package 14, a device receiving part 18 that is integrally formed with the bottom face inside the package 14, an optical scanning device 2 that is fixed to an inclined surface of the device receiving part 18, and a light transmission member 16 that shields an opening 14a of the package 14. The light transmission member 16 is formed of a lid member 20 and a glass plate 22. The optical scanning device 2 does not move even in an environment where vibration occurs because it is fixed to the device receiving part 18 as a one body. The light transmission member 16 is arranged parallel to the bottom face 14b of the package 14, and the optical deflector 12 has the entire shape of a rectangular parallelepiped to facilitate manufacture. Since the optical scanning device 2 is inclined, an adverse effect on functions of the optical deflector caused by reflected light on the surface of the glass plate can be suppressed, which is equivalent to a case where the glass plate 22 is inclined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
