The invention relates to an apparatus for boxing dental impressions that comprises an easy to use and store reusable boxing device having a flexible sheet-materialed unitary body preferably made of metal, and defined by a generally rectangular elongated planar piece or strip of sheet material with opposite end portions being provided with user-friendly engaging means. The engaging means is preferably in form of built-in frictionally and lockably engageable edge sections, allowing easy and secure engagement or disengagement of such end portions in usage. The device in an engaged position forms a generally ring-like shape surrounding and containing therein the impression, and in an disengaged position, forms back to its normal planar flat-face shape/form that is conveniently pliable for space-saving storage. The apparatus further comprises, preferably in combination with the boxing device thereof, a non-toxic, easy-to-use, easy-to-clean and reusable beading material, preferably a Play-DohR modeling compound. |
