The present invention relates to an operation method for a shaft type electric furnace with a supersonic burner and an oxygen lance and, more specifically, to an operation method for a shaft type electric furnace with a supersonic burner and an oxygen lance, which is to improve a temperature rising property of ingot steel and productivity by reducing operation time. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the operation method for a shaft type electric furnace with a supersonic burner and an oxygen lance includes: a embedding method of embedding steel scrap into a shaft of the electric furnace; a dissolution method of dissolving the steel scrap to be the ingot steel by an electrode unit and an oxygen lance; and a refining step of refining the ingot steel using a supersonic burner. The supersonic burner is operated at the initial stage of refining at the refining step, and the operation of the oxygen lance stops at the initial stage of the refining.
