PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fracture-type active hood hinge device which can rigidly support a hood usually, and can reduce an impact by the descending of the hood at a collision.SOLUTION: This fracture-type active hood hinge device 100 includes: a hinge bracket 120 fixed to a vehicle body in which an engine room is located; a hinge arm 110 fixed to a hood; a descending lever 130 which is link-connected to one side of the hinge arm; a fracture bolt 150 which connects the other side end of the descending lever to one portion of the hinge bracket, and is cut and released in the hinge-connection when colliding with a pedestrian; and a damping lever 140 which is link-connected between the hinge arm and the hinge bracket in order to reduce an impact force of the hinge arm by the elasticity of an impact damping part 170 which is arranged at one side of the hinge bracket in a state that the connection of the descending lever is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
