PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer capable of excellently peeling a label when performing printing in a peeling issue mode.SOLUTION: A support section 13 of a peeling unit 10 of a label printer includes: a support shaft 13d formed by bulging a peripheral surface radial direction more than a nip roller 12 except the vicinity of a contact point between a platen roller and the nip roller 12 when performing printing in a peeling issue mode; and a projection section 13e projecting from the support shaft 13d. Accordingly, even when a label peeled from a mount falls down to the nip roller 12 side, the support shaft 13d and the projection section 13e are disposed between a peeling member and the nip roller 12, thereby suppressing a failure that the label is entangled between the platen roller and the nip roller 12. The projection section 13e abuts on the mount passing between the peeling member and the nip roller 12 and tension is applied to the mount, thereby suppressing sagging of the mount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
