PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main column material replacement method for a steel tower that can make a frame compact and reduce bending moment acting on a main column material.SOLUTION: There is provided a main column material replacement method for a steel tower formed upward to be inclined upward within a main skeleton part 20 while the main skeleton part 20 is composed of a plurality of main column materials 21 such that the respective main column materials 21 have base parts to top parts by a plurality of main column constitution members 21a. A frame 3 is installed over a base 1, a load transmission member 4 is fitted to a main column constitution member 21a above an object main column constitution member 21A to be replaced, and the object main column constitution member 21A to be replaced is replaced after driving force of an actuator 5 is made to act on the load transmission member 4 from the frame 3 to and the load on the object main column constitution member 21A is removed, regions of the frame 3 and load transmission member 4 that the driving force of the actuator 5 acts on being inside the main skeleton part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
