PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float plate glass capable of suppressing generation of white turbidness caused by alkali elution on the glass surface.SOLUTION: In a float plate glass Gp produced by a float process, the SiOconcentration of a first main surface Gp1 thereof and the SiOconcentration of a second main surface Gp2 on the opposite side to the first main surface Gp1 are set higher than the SiOconcentration of a center part Gpm in the thickness direction of the float plate glass Gp.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
