A slip preventing agent for socks of the present invention contains an acrylic acid based polymer, glycerin, and a fatty acid dextrin. It is preferred that an amount of the fatty acid dextrin in the slip preventing agent for socks is in the range of 0.05 to 1 mass %. It is also preferred that an amount of the acrylic acid based polymer in the slip preventing agent for socks is in the range of 0.01 to 10 mass %. It is also preferred that an amount of the glycerin in the slip preventing agent for socks is in the range of 0.1 to 80 mass %. Furthermore, it is also preferred when the amount of the fatty acid dextrin in the slip preventing agent for socks is defined as A [mass %] and the amount of the acrylic acid based polymer in the slip preventing agent for socks is defined as B [mass %], the following relation is satisfied: 0.02≦B/A≦20. |
