PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method of transmitting information with which various types of information can be reliably transmitted tactually to an object with physical impairment.SOLUTION: An information transmission device includes: a main body 12 that includes travelling means 14; receiving means 16 for receiving a signal for transmitting information; detection means 20 for detecting an ID medium 18 carried by an object; contact detection means 22 for detecting contact with the object; transmission means 24 for transmitting information to the object; and control means 26 for controlling the travelling means 14, detection means 20, contact detection means 22, and transmission means 24 when the receiving means 16 receives an information signal, and tactually transmits predetermined information to the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
