PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of improving discharge accuracy of liquid, and to provide a head unit, a capacitive load driving integrated circuit device, and a capacitive load drive circuit.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises: a modulation section 510 generating a modulation signal Ms obtained by pulse-modulating a source signal; a gate driver 520 generating an amplification control signal on the basis of the modulation signal Ms; transistors M1 and M2 generating an amplification modulation signal on the basis of the amplification control signal; a low-pass filter 560 demodulating the amplification modulation signal and generating a driving signal COM-A; a piezoelectric element displaced by application of the driving signal COM-A to it; a first power source section 530 applying a signal to a terminal different from a terminal to which the driving signal COM-A of the piezoelectric element is applied; a cavity whose internal volume varies by displacement of the piezoelectric element; and a nozzle discharging liquid inside the cavity as droplets.
