PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a plurality of shift positions without using high accuracy sensors.SOLUTION: There is provided a shifting device including: a shift lever 12a that includes a plurality of shift positions and is moved along a plurality of selection rows of a selection row A 18a and a selection row B 18b connected with each other; a magnetic flux direction detection element 22 to detect a direction of magnetic flux; and a ball bearing part 20 that generates a magnetic flux in a plurality of directions corresponding to the selection row A 18a and the selection row B 18b, allocates the magnetic flux direction detection element 22 so as to detect generated magnetic fluxes of directions different for each selection row along which the shift lever 12 is moved, and is allocated in a manner that a direction of a magnetic flux detected by the magnetic flux direction detection element 22 differs for each shift position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
