PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that there has been conventionally a technique of capable of performing an intermittent operation which further reduces a switching frequency to a predetermined frequency and under a light load, and temporarily stops switching itself; however, a sound is sometimes heard due to the intermittent operation.SOLUTION: The apparatus retains information concerning number of driving occurrences and driving frequency corresponding to an inclination of an output voltage and identifies an inclination of a change in an output voltage for a stopping period in an intermittent operation including an operation period and the stopping period. In addition, the apparatus outputs a driving signal in accordance with number of driving occurrences and driving frequency determined based on the identified inclination and the retained information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
