PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor in which self-healing property is effectively developed and more excellent withstand voltage characteristics can be developed under a high temperature environment than that of conventional products.SOLUTION: A film capacitor obtained by using a laminate body or a winding material of a basic element employs a basic element 10 formed by laminating: a composite film 18 formed by mounting a metal deposition film layer 14 on one surface of a resin film 12 and mounting a deposition polymerization film layer 16 on the metal deposition film layer; and a composite film 24 formed by mounting a metal deposition film layer 22 on one surface of the resin film 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
