PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time digital converter that can perform self-adjustment on the resolution of time conversion.SOLUTION: A time digital converter has a comparator unit 110, a digital phase synchronization loop 120 and a counter unit 130. The comparator unit 130 is provided to compare an enable time of a time signal with the minimum time in order to supply a comparison result. The digital phase synchronization loop 120 is provided to receive a reference clock signal in order to supply a counter clock signal. The counter unit 130 is provided to receive a counter clock signal in order to supply a count result based on the counter clock signal and the time signal. The count result is output as output data based on the comparison result when the enable time of the time signal is longer than the minimum time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
