CONNECTION CONFIRMATION DEVICE BETWEEN MULTI-CORE CABLE AND CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection confirmation device between a multi-core cable and a connector which is made to be able to simply and rapidly confirm whether or not the connector mounted on both sides of the multi-core cable and a core wire in the multi-core cable are properly connected to each other.SOLUTION: A detector 5 is connected to one of a pair of connector elements 3 and 4 connected to both terminals of a multi-core cable 2 having a plurality of core wires and a loop back connector 6 is connected to the other thereof. A first contactor in the connector element 4 of the other and second and succeeding contactors are connected in parallel by a plurality of loop back circuits whose resistance values in the loop back connector 6 are different from each other are provided. The resistance value between two contactors in the connector element 3 of one is detected by electrical quantity detection means 14 provided in the detector 5, thereby confirming a connected state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
