PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device, a control method therefor and a program, reducing unnecessary wireless power transmission processing.SOLUTION: A power transmission device performs authentication power transmission for authentication processing to confirm whether or not an object existent in a power transmission range is a power reception device requesting power transmission, according to a predetermined detection value for detecting the object existent in the power transmission range. On confirming in the authentication processing that the object existent in the power transmission range is a power reception device requesting the power transmission, the power transmission device performs power transmission according to the request from the power reception device. When receiving a predetermined signal from the power reception device, the power transmission device stops the power transmission, and restricts the authentication power transmission on the basis of the comparison of a predetermined detection value, which is obtained when detecting the first power reception device before the power transmission, with a predetermined detection value, which is obtained after the power transmission to the first power reception device is stopped, after the power transmission stoppage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
