PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a wavelength conversion member which imposes less restriction about the kind of a phosphor to be used, and enables the materialization of a compact form, and which can be obtained by a simple and convenient manufacturing method; a method for manufacturing such a wavelength conversion member; and a light-emitting device including such a wavelength conversion member.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a wavelength conversion member comprises the steps of: forming, on a base, a phosphor layer including phosphor particles with oxide particles sticking to the surfaces thereof; and forming a coating layer including the same oxide material as the oxide particles, and uninterruptedly covering the surfaces of the phosphor particles and the oxide particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7B |
