PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pressure distribution measurement method capable of easily measuring pressure distribution in the same state as an environment where brake actually operates.SOLUTION: A brake pressure distribution measurement method, by a sensor (strain gauge 60) arranged on a rotor (disc rotor 20) or in the vicinity of the rotor, in a state where the rotor rotatably moves, measures minute displacement of the shape of the rotor along a pressing direction of a movable part (caliper 30) (S12); and on the basis of the minute displacement of the shape of the rotor obtained by the measurement, calculates pressure distribution to the rotor by analysis with a computer (S15, S16, S17).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
