PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting-down machine capable of cutting down herbs in a substantially fixed direction.SOLUTION: A cutting-down machine 1 for cutting down herbs G by using a vehicle body 2 capable of traveling in forward and backward directions comprises the vehicle body 2, a cutter 10 overhanging on the side of the vehicle 2, and a push guide 13 that is fixed to the vehicle body 2 and arranged toward a predetermined direction above the cutter 10. The push guide 13 includes a lower guide 11 provided at the same height as the cutter 10 or above the cutter 10 in order to push a lower part of the herbs G, and an upper guide 12 provided above the lower guide 11 in order to push a higher part of the herbs G above the lower part. The lower guide 11 and the upper guide 12 are independent from each other with their angles being adjustable in a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
