摘要 According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a planarization layer, a touch sensing electrode and a column spacer. The second substrate is opposite to the first substrate, and the planarization layer is disposed on the first substrate. The touch sensing electrode is also disposed on the planarization layer, and an alignment film is disposed on the touch sensing electrode. In addition, the column spacer is disposed under the second substrate. The planarization layer has a hole having a lower surface in an area corresponding to the column spacer, and part of the touch sensing electrode is disposed on the lower surface of the hole. As the part of the touch sensing electrode is arranged inside the hole, even if the column spacer and the touch sensing electrode are disposed to overlap with each other, distance between the touch sensing electrode and the column spacer may be maintained to a desired extent. Accordingly, damage to the alignment film due to the column spacer is minimized.
