PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active antenna system which can be further reduced in size.SOLUTION: An active antenna system 3 comprises: couplers 31 operable to acquire transmit signals of power amplifiers 16; an aggregation unit 32 to which first signal line paths 33 running from the couplers 31 are connected, and which aggregates transmit signals provided from the couplers 31 through the first signal line paths 33 into a predetermined number of aggregated signals fewer than the transmit signals; and a distortion compensation unit 40 which performs the distortion compensation of the power amplifiers 16 based on feedback signals consisting of the transmit signals of the power amplifiers 16 fed back thereto. The aggregation unit 32 provides the predetermined number of aggregated signals as the feedback signals to the distortion compensation unit 40 through a second signal line path 34 connecting between the aggregation unit 32 and a digital signal processing unit 10. The second signal line path 34 consists of lines of which the total number corresponds to the predetermined number of aggregated signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
