PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear which secures its smooth rotating motion with less occurrence of abnormal sound by damping vibration generated on the tooth surface during the engagement of the gear, while reducing the weight, and to provide an electric actuator equipped therewith.SOLUTION: In the electric actuator which includes a speed reduction mechanism 6 for transmitting the rotary force of an electric motor 3, and a ball screw mechanism 8 provided therethrough for converting the rotary motion of the electric motor 3 into the linear motion of a driving shaft 7, an output gear 5 is fixed to the outer peripheral face of a nut 18 in the state of being held between an inner ring 23 of a supporting bearing 20 and a flange part 18c of the nut 18. It has a center part 33 formed thinner between an outer diameter part 31 and a boss part 32, and rectangular lightening holes 34 each having a width enlarged radially outward and formed in the center part 33 while being distributed uniformly in the peripheral direction. To both side faces of the center part 33 on the further outer periphery side than the outer diameter of the supporting bearing 20, a vibration absorbing material 35 of synthetic rubber is integrally joined passing through the lightening hole 34 with vulcanization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
