PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow processing corresponding to a configuration provided with a plurality of reception sections to be executed while effectively utilizing resources.SOLUTION: A printer 11 comprises: a first immediate execution command management section 202 monitoring whether or not an immediate execution command is stored in a first reception buffer 24 and reading and executing the immediate execution command when the immediate execution command is stored therein; and a second immediate execution command management section 203 monitoring whether or not the immediate execution command is stored in a second reception buffer 26 and reading and executing the immediate execution command when the immediate execution command is stored therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
