PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism enabling a user to select in advance processing from among the three choices of prohibiting image data reception, printing image data without a print instruction and printing image data according to a print instruction.SOLUTION: A printer includes: first storage means for storing a telephone number to prohibit the reception of image data; second storage means for storing a telephone number to print image data without a print instruction; and control means for controlling to prohibit the image data reception when the telephone number of an opposite communication party is stored in the first storage means, or to print the image data without a print instruction when the telephone number of an opposite communication party is stored in the first storage means, or to print the image data according to a print instruction when the telephone number of an opposite communication party is stored in neither the first storage means nor the second storage means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
