PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system that enables, when a response to an input from a user is not appropriate, a system administrator not having a high degree of knowledge about a technology related to natural languages and artificial intelligence to easily perform modification and addition to knowledge data and adjust the details of the response to the input into appropriate ones.SOLUTION: A system administrator 20 can display, on a knowledge maintenance screen 890, a new QA quick addition screen 900 by depressing a link on an input sentence that does not hit any knowledge data, and easily add correspondence between the input sentence and the details of a response thereon. The system administrator 20 can click, on the knowledge maintenance screen 890, a candidate Q determined to be close to the meaning of the input sentence to display a synonymous sentence quick addition screen 930 and easily add a corresponding input sentence as a synonymous sentence of the candidate Q.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 33 |
