PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which improves image quality of an ultrasonic image by correcting influence of refraction of ultrasonic waves.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus generates ultrasonic image data on a subject via an ultrasonic diagnostic probe 1, and includes a specification part 25, a transmission/reception condition change part 26 and an image generation part 23. The specification part 25 specifies a feature portion which is included in a scan scope relating to the ultrasonic image data and has distinctive sound characteristics on the basis of three-dimensional image data on the subject preliminarily generated. The transmission/reception condition change part 26 changes the transmission/reception condition of the ultrasonic waves on the basis of the sound characteristics of the specified feature portion. The image generation part 23 generates ultrasonic image data on the basis of the changed transmission/reception condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
