PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to take out a sheet stored in a storage part when a printer shifts to the power-off state.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: determination means which determines whether or not there is a residual sheet in a sheet storage part storing a sheet on which an image is printed when an instruction for power-off is given; control means which performs control so as to discharge the residual sheet when the determination means determines that there is the residual sheet in the sheet storage part; and execution means which executes power-off after the control means performs control so as to discharge the residual sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
