PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter capable of improving utilization efficiency of an interior space in a loop-shaped portion of a catheter tip part.SOLUTION: An electrode catheter 1 comprises: a flexible catheter body 21; a catheter tip part 22 which is provided at a tip side of the catheter body 21, and has a loop-shaped portion forming a loop surface S non-parallel to an extending direction of the catheter body 21; a plurality of electrodes (221, 222) provided in the catheter tip part 22; a hollow core wire 42 having shape memory characteristics, which is inserted from the vicinity of a tip inside the catheter body 21 into the catheter tip part 22; and a contraction wire 43 inserted into the core wire 42, which is used in the operation of changing a loop diameter R of the loop-shaped portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
