PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite component which fixes and seals a honeycomb body.SOLUTION: A composite component includes: a honeycomb body having a pair of opening surfaces and a side wall; a casing enclosing the honeycomb body; and a joint part for joining the honeycomb body to the casing. The joint part includes: a flange part provided at a periphery of the side wall of the honeycomb body; an engagement part which is provided on an inner surface of the casing so as to face an opening surface side end surface of the flange part; and a brazing material layer sandwiched between the flange part and the engagement part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
