Disclosed are an image correcting method and an image correcting apparatus which correct a multi-view point image. According to an embodiment, the image correcting device can extract feature points from a multi-view point image, and perform an image correcting process based on the extracted feature points; the image correcting device can track corresponding feature points among temporally successive image frames of a first view point image; and the image correcting device can perform the image correcting process based on the matched pairs of corresponding feature points between feature points tracked in the first view point image, and feature points of a second view point image. The image correcting apparatus comprises: a feature point extracting unit which extracts feature points from a multi-view point image including the first view point image and the second view point image; a feature point determining unit which determines feature points to be used for the image correcting process from a current image frame of the first view point image, and a current image frame of the second view point image based on the feature points included in a previous image frame of the first view point image; and an image correcting unit which performs the image correcting process based on the determined feature points.
