According to the present invention, disclosed are a natural language query-response system, a method thereof, and a paraphrasing module. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system comprises: a modification module paraphrasing a user query to generate a plurality of modified queries; a plurality of query-response engines receiving the user query and each of the modified queries and selecting answer candidates; and a detection module detecting at least one answer candidate as an answer among the answer candidates searched. According to the present invention, by paraphrasing a user query, an answer corresponding to the paraphrased user query may be searched.
