A food ordering system of the present invention comprises: a beacon terminal; and an ordering management server. The beacon terminal is installed in a food court, embeds an own beacon ID, and transmits the beacon ID to a portable terminal of an ordering person who enters within an own signal arrival distance. The ordering management server embeds food ordering content to order food in the food court, executes wired and wireless communications, receives the beacon ID from the portable terminal, transmits the food ordering content corresponding to the received beacon ID to the portable terminal by using wireless communications, and receives a menu selected by the ordering person among food menus of the food court and food price payment information which pays food price of the selected menu from the portable terminal through the food ordering content. Accordingly, the food ordering system aggressively and actively provides information regarding menus of the food court to the portable terminal before a request of the ordering person and the ordering person can order food by using own portable terminal. Therefore, convenience of a food court user can be improved. |
