PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of appropriately controlling a display time for reviewing a picked up image after performing an imaging operation.SOLUTION: A digital camera has a control unit 1 that detects a change in posture of the camera and controls the display time for reviewing the image according to the posture change when displaying an image taken by an imaging unit 6 on a display unit 5 for reviewing the image for a predetermined time, on the basis of the detection result angular velocity/acceleration sensor 7 after taking the image.
