PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire bonding connection type chip resistor which can display information relevant to the chip resistor.SOLUTION: A chip resistor comprises: a cuboid-shaped insulating substrate (2); a plurality of front electrodes arranged on a surface of the insulating substrate at predetermined intervals; and a resistor which bridges the paired front electrodes out of the plurality of front electrodes, in which at least one out of the plurality of front electrodes is used as an electrode for wire bonding. The chip resistor further comprises: a conductive part (7) which is composed of a conductive material and formed on a rear face of the insulating substrate; and a display part (7c) for indicating product information relevant to the chip resistor depending on a pattern shape of the conductive part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
