PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium secondary battery excellent in cost performance.SOLUTION: A sodium secondary battery includes: a positive electrode containing a substance capable of inserting and desorbing sodium ions; a negative electrode containing the substance capable of inserting and desorbing the sodium ions; and an electrolyte having sodium ion electric conductivity.
