PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission line having current capacity property equal to or more than one of conventional long diameter space power transmission lines and enhanced tensile strength property and a manufacturing method of the power transmission line.SOLUTION: A power transmission line has a steel core part and an outer part twisted part arranged by twisting a plurality of aluminum raw wire on an outside of the steel core part, the aluminum raw material contains magnesium and silicon and the balance aluminum with inevitable impurities, conductivity of the aluminum raw wire is 52%IACS or more and tensile strength of the aluminum raw wire is over 324 MPa.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
